🔥 Polemic

Scriptural Resonance: Galatians 2:11 — “But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.”

Definition: From the Greek *polemos*, meaning “war.” A polemic is a strong verbal or written attack on a doctrine, idea, or error.

Theological Use: Polemics defend orthodoxy and expose false teaching. They are necessary in moments of doctrinal crisis, but must be wielded with wisdom and love.

Pastoral Note: Polemic without grace becomes clanging cymbals. But when grounded in truth and humility, it guards the flock and honors the Shepherd.
